Voles also leave behind small holes, about the size of a golf ball, instead of large holes like gophers and moles make.
Voles are vegetarians and will feast on grass, flower bulbs, root vegetables, and shrubs, leaving your landscape in turmoil. Additionally, voles are prolific breeders and since they don’t hibernate, their populations can get out of hand very quickly.
